The Etruscan Well
Belonging to the Corbello family, the Etruscan Well is a great hydraulic work that testifies to the technical knowledge and degree of civilisation achieved by the people of Perugia already 300 years before Christ.
Perugia Underground
Beneath the cloister of the Cathedral of San Lorenzo is access to Perugia Underground, the acropolis of the Etruscan and Roman Perugia. For millennia, in fact, this place has always hosted the city space dedicated to the deity.
Rocca Paolina
Praised in a famous poem by Giosuè Carducci, the Rocca Paolina is an ancient fortress commissioned by Pope Paul III and built by Antonio da Sangallo the Younger. The most suggestive part of what remains of the Rocca Paolina to visit are the underground passages, in particular the escalators that from the car park in Piazza Partigiani cross the Rocca under the side portico of the Palazzo del Governo (1870, seat of the Province) and arrive in Piazza Italia.

13-22 NOVEMBER 2026 - Eurochocolate is an annual event dedicated to the culture of chocolate. Since 1994 through the special section Eurochocolate World, The event brings together cocoa-producing countries, which present their customs, traditions and typical cocoa products in the Rocca Paolina.
National Gallery of Umbria
La National Gallery of Umbria hosts one of the richest art collections in Italy and is, at the same time, a treasure chest of Perugia's city memory.
