CORCIANO

WHAT WE RECOMMEND YOU SEE
DEFINITELY IN CORCIANO

3 PLACES THAT WILL FILL YOUR EYES AND HEART

Peasant House Museum

The museum documents the broader rural context in which peasant work and the associated subsistence economy took place. The rooms in which domestic objects and agricultural tools are kept reconstruct those of a traditional peasant house

The Church of St. Augustine

The Church of Sant'Agostino in Corciano (PG), with the adjoining convent, was built in 1334 on the authorisation of Pope John XXII. Situated just outside the village walls, the complex has an originally Gothic structure that was modified in the 18th century. The church is known for its cloister, frescoes, works of art and its connection with the Augustinian community.

The lanes of the village

The alleyways of Corciano, one of Italy's most beautiful medieval towns in Umbria, offer an atmosphere suspended in time with their concentric structure, stone walls, flowering stairways and panoramic views of Lake Trasimeno and the surrounding hills.
